Beds After Back Surgery

The geographer Johannes Vermeer (1669)

"You do not need too many things in life but a room with a window, a room that is one and a door to which if necessary you can add a latch or lock it, says Virginia Woolf; a room with a window through which some light natural and from which to observe a fragment of life and a decent income that will grant one the serenity necessary to his indolence or their tasks without benefit insured. " So starting today, Antonio Muñoz article in El Pais.

And it's true, there is always a room with a window through which you see life pass. That window is not always the same, but changes little over the years . Mine is now the kitchen. It is oriented to the west and from it I see the sun every afternoon. If a storm approaches should be aware of that window, because in this area larger storms come from the northwest. I realize, thinking about it, I've chosen to watch the quieter side of the house less traveled, where what is hidden is revealed to me quietly and without warning.

a moment ago, while preparing dinner, I saw that, between the bars of a birdcage on the floor forgotten, has blossomed the first peony. That means that bad weather is over this year.
