Punched Ice And Now My Hand Hurts

Police Story Police Story (1985)

The original not the remake. A classic is a must in any collection. Jackie Chan wrote, directed, stars and even sings in this historic film and martial arts action.

Chan plays a rookie cop who fails an anti-drug operation. Despite their efforts, the mafia leader was to be sentenced, goes free for lack of evidence. At the same time a conspiracy against the advice of the sole suspect in the murder of a colleague. Must protect a key witness, and at the same time to clear his name to condemn the real guilty.

Accompanied by the late "Uncle Bill" 董 骠 Tung Biu, a spectacular Brigitte Lin Ching-Hsia 林青霞 in their first performances, and Maggie Cheung Man-Yuk 张曼玉 almost adolescent. This film and its sequels represent the best of Jackie Chan in its heyday, long before leaving for Hollywood.

No doubles, no strings, no CGI and full contact for * all * the players, without exception. Police Story is part of a genre that has no equal in Hollywood, and probably never will have. Where actors are really hitting and do all sorts of physical feat risking their lives.

stand out the tremendous blows that Chan is given against everything and everyone, including jumping from a third floor in a shopping and wear hundreds of light bulbs to finish going through the roof. Also very interesting to see Maggie Cheung in his first steps as an actress, totally different from what it is today. Almost teenager at the time of filming. Jackie Chan sings

the same, the main theme of the film and if they get the soundtrack you can hear the extended version. An excellent film of the 80 that all movie lovers should see Hong Kong.

We leave the trailer with the song "Hero Story" (Ying hung gu si):
